See which FAQs came from your website, a CSV file or your own typing, filter the list by them, and remove a source without losing its FAQs.

Every FAQ remembers where it came from. That is handy when you want to check everything one website scan brought in, or clean up after uploading the wrong file.

| Source | Where it comes from |
| --- | --- |
| Website | Suggestions you added from a [website scan](https://konvuno.com/help/knowledge/website-import), named after the address. |
| CSV import | A [CSV upload](https://konvuno.com/help/knowledge/csv), named after the file. |
| Manual entry | FAQs you wrote yourself, and FAQs whose source you removed. |

Importing the same thing again adds to the source you already have: scan the same address twice, or upload a file with the same name, and the new FAQs join the first source instead of starting a second one. A different address or file name is a source of its own.

## Filter the list by source

The source filter above the FAQ list

Once you have imported something, the toolbar above your FAQs gets a source filter. Click All sources and pick a source to see only its FAQs, or Manual entry for the ones you typed.

## See all your sources

Click Add knowledge → Manage sources.

The list of knowledge sources

Each source shows its type, the website address or file name, the date it was added (the FAQs you wrote yourself have none) and how many FAQs it holds. Click a website address to open that site in a new tab.

## Remove a source

1. Click the bin icon next to the source.
2. Confirm with Remove.

Removing a source **keeps its FAQs**: they become Manual entry FAQs, and the assistant keeps using them exactly as before.

A source is a label, not a live link: removing it does not stop anything, and keeping it does not update anything. Your FAQs never change by themselves when your website changes — scan again to get new suggestions.

Tip

Want to remove the FAQs **as well**? Do that first: pick the source in the All sources filter, tick the header box and click Delete. Once the source is removed, its FAQs are mixed in with your manual entries and are much harder to find.

How other businesses use it

- **A furniture shop** uploads one CSV per season and filters by file when the season ends, to disable that season's offers in one go.
- **A dental clinic** rebuilt its website, scanned the new one, and deleted the FAQs from the old scan before removing that source.
- **A consultancy** checks the Manual entry filter each quarter, because the partners' hand-written answers are the ones most likely to go out of date.
