Terms of Service

Effective 13 July 2026 · konvuno.com

Please read these terms together with the Privacy & Cookie Policy. They describe the service as it works today; features that are not available are not promised here.

These Terms of Service govern access to Konvuno's marketing site, dashboard, website-assistant widget, APIs, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Konvuno for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

1. Accounts & access

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and provide accurate account information. Konvuno currently uses passwordless email one-time passcodes through Supabase Auth. You are responsible for access to your email account, activity under your login, and promptly removing people who should no longer have access.

Organizations may have owners and members. Some actions are restricted by role, including publishing, membership administration, export, and deletion. A free account can be created without a payment card.

2. The service & AI outputs

Konvuno lets a business configure an AI assistant from its business profile, FAQs, catalog, website-analysis results, and widget settings. The assistant retrieves that material and uses an external AI provider to create responses. AI output is probabilistic: it can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate even when grounded in approved content. You must review your content and configuration and must not present the assistant as a guaranteed source of truth.

Konvuno is not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice. Do not use it to make decisions that require professional judgment or to automate decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Publishing & the widget

You control which configuration is published and which domains are allowed to load it. The loader requests the published configuration on page load and creates the browser storage described in the Privacy & Cookie Policy. Requests from origins outside the allowlist are rejected. Dashboard test mode is available only to authenticated organization members and is excluded from normal billing and analytics.

You are responsible for the websites where you install the widget, the accuracy and lawfulness of your content, and the notices or consent required for visitor messages, lead forms, browser storage, AI processing, and any optional Cloudflare challenge. Do not hide or contradict the widget's privacy behavior.

4. Customer data & processing instructions

You retain rights in the content and data you submit. You instruct Konvuno to host, copy, crawl URLs you submit, create embeddings, retrieve, analyze, transmit to the providers listed in the Privacy & Cookie Policy, generate responses and summaries, send transactional notifications, and otherwise process that data as needed to provide and secure the service.

For visitor conversations, leads, and other personal data you collect through your widget, you are normally the controller and Konvuno acts as your processor. You are responsible for a valid legal basis, your own privacy notice, responding to visitors, and not submitting data you have no right to process. Do not intentionally submit payment-card data, account passwords, government identifiers, health records, or other highly sensitive data to chats, FAQs, catalogs, website analysis, or free-text fields.

5. Plans & billing

The repository contains Stripe-backed subscription, entitlement, allowance, and top-up records, but the current dashboard does not provide self-service checkout, payment-method management, plan changes, or cancellation. If paid access is arranged or those controls become available, the price, billing period, allowance, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms shown at purchase or in an order form will control. Stripe processes payment details; Konvuno stores Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and subscription status, not full card numbers.

Conversation allowances count grounded answers, catalog answers, captured leads, and requested handoffs according to the implemented billing rules. Test-mode and conversations flagged as suspicious are excluded from valid conversation counts. Internal safety and cost ceilings can temporarily pause the assistant.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Konvuno for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, or abusive activity; to collect data without required notice or permission; to distribute malware; to impersonate others; to probe or bypass security, tenant isolation, rate limits, allowances, or domain restrictions; or to interfere with the service or another customer.

The service applies origin checks, rate limits, salted IP hashing, deterministic risk scoring, spend ceilings, and—if configured—Cloudflare Turnstile. Traffic may be blocked, challenged, flagged as suspicious, or excluded from valid usage metrics.

7. Ownership

You keep ownership of your content. You grant Konvuno a non-exclusive, worldwide license for the term of your use to process it only as needed to provide, protect, and troubleshoot the service. The repository contains no workflow that uses customer data to train a foundation model. Konvuno and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, design, documentation, and branding. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, but it does not give Konvuno ownership of your customer data.

8. Export, deletion & termination

An organization owner can download the dashboard's JSON export and delete the organization. The export is a database snapshot capped at 10,000 rows per included collection; it excludes embedding vectors, uploaded file contents, authentication data, audit logs, billing and entitlement data, usage and cost records, abuse records, and some analytics. It is not represented as a complete portability export.

Deleting an organization removes its database rows but currently does not automatically remove files previously uploaded to Supabase Storage, including public branding images and private catalog-import CSVs. It also does not delete members' login accounts or browser-local drafts and preferences. These limitations are described again in the Privacy & Cookie Policy.

You may stop using the service at any time. Konvuno may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or non-payment when paid service applies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

9. Availability, warranties & liability

The service depends on third-party infrastructure, email, payment, security, and AI providers. It may be unavailable, delayed, changed, or discontinued, and no service-level agreement applies unless separately signed. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konvuno is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for decisions made from AI output. Konvuno's aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

Konvuno may update these terms as the service or law changes. The effective date above will be changed when the text changes. If a change materially reduces your rights, reasonable notice will be provided through the service or by email when a working notification channel is available. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of the updated terms.
