Clinic mode

What changes when Konvuno sets your business up as a clinic — the fixed topics in the chat, no contact form, and conversations kept for 30 days.

Visitors to a clinic's website may be patients. What they type into a chat can be about their health, and that is information a clinic must be especially careful with. Clinic mode is a setting for doctors, dentists, physiotherapists and other health practices that keeps such information out of the chat altogether.

There is no switch for it in the dashboard: Konvuno turns it on for you. If your business is a clinic, write to us and we set it up.

What your visitors see

  • Four topics instead of a text box. The chat offers Opening hours, Location, Services and Appointment contact. A visitor picks one and the assistant answers it; they cannot type their own message, so they cannot describe symptoms.
  • No contact form and no hand-off. The assistant gives your opening hours, address, services and how to book, and points to the contact channels you already have — your phone, email or booking page. Your suggested questions are not shown.
  • A different notice at the top of the chat: it says the chat gives general clinic information only, asks for no patient details or medical advice, and is deleted after 30 days.

The assistant never diagnoses, recommends a treatment or asks for patient details, whatever your custom instructions say.

What changes for you

  • Conversations are deleted after 30 days instead of 90. See How long Konvuno keeps your data.
  • No leads come from the chat, because there is no contact form.
  • On Overview, the comparison with the period before is shown on 7d only — longer periods reach back past the 30 days. See Compare with the period before.
  • The widget previews on the Widget screen show the clinic version, so what you see is what your visitors get.

Everything else — your FAQs, your business context, the widget's look — works as usual, and gives the assistant what it needs to answer the four topics well.

How other businesses use it

  • A dental practice fills its FAQs with opening hours, parking and how to book a check-up; the chat answers those, and every appointment goes through its phone line.
  • A physiotherapy clinic lists its treatments in the business context, so "Services" gives a full answer without anyone describing an injury in the chat.
