Change the dashboard language

Switch the Konvuno dashboard to another language, and understand how Konvuno picks one for you.

The Konvuno dashboard speaks seven languages: English, Serbian (Srpski), German (Deutsch), French (Français), Italian (Italiano), Spanish (Español) and Croatian (Hrvatski). Every screen, button and message is translated.

This page is about the language you see while you work. The language your visitors see in the chat widget is set separately — see Identity and Languages — the widget's and the assistant's.

The language menu next to your name

  1. At the bottom of the sidebar, next to your name, click the globe icon.
  2. Pick a language.

The dashboard switches straight away, without reloading.

Your choice belongs to this browser

The language is remembered in the browser you picked it in, not in your account or your business. That means:

  • each colleague chooses their own language — changing yours does not change theirs;
  • on another computer, phone or browser, Konvuno chooses again (see below) until you pick one there too.

How Konvuno chooses for you

Each time the dashboard opens, Konvuno uses the first of these that applies:

  1. The language you came from. Click "Sign in" or "Start free" on konvuno.com while reading it in German, and the dashboard opens in German — and remembers it.
  2. The language you picked before in this browser.
  3. Your browser's language, if it is one of the seven.
  4. English otherwise.

The sign-in screen follows the same rules, and has the same globe button at the top, next to the Konvuno logo: pick a language there before you sign in, and the dashboard opens in it.

What is and is not translated

  • Your own content — FAQs, product names, conversations and leads — appears exactly as it was written.
  • Dates and numbers follow the dashboard language: they are written the way your language writes them.
  • The sign-in code email is written in the language the sign-in screen is in.
  • Other emails from Konvuno — invitations, new-lead alerts, support receipts and billing messages — are sent in English.

How other businesses use it

  • A family-run hotel has the owner working in Italian and the night receptionist in English, on two computers.
  • A Belgrade accounting office signs in from the Serbian konvuno.com, so the dashboard is in Serbian from the first screen.
  • An international agency keeps its dashboard in English, while its clients' widgets greet visitors in French, German and Spanish.
